Free Boobs for Nurses

Hot NurseIf you are a nurse who values a good boob job over a decent salary, the Czech Republic may just be the place for you.  We've all heard of a world-wide shortage of nurses and medical personnel, but did you know that nurses in the Czech Republic have "special" bonus incentives to keep them in the country? Complimentary German lessons, five weeks of vacation and free liposuction and silicone breast implants.

The nurses can choose from a full range of surgical procedures and not surprisingly, "it has proved more popular than the free German lessons." One clinic has seen an increase in 10% in nursing applications since implementing the policy.

The Czech Republic has seen a serious "brain drain" in the nursing community, probably due to the fact that the average nurse earns less than a bus driver and can easily find higher-paying work in nearby countries.

We may find it strange and possibly sexist, but the spokesman of the Czech Nurses Association has publicly stated that "There is nothing degrading in this kind of benefit." Another possible reason for this kind of benefit is the pressure Czech women, especially nurses, feel to look physically attractive. One nurse even tells a tale of being forced to walk in a straight line, model-like, in order to get a nursing job at an interview. (No word on whether she had to give out her cup-size information as well.)

The head of plastic surgery had some words of wisdom for those uncertain about whether to implement a similar policy in their own clinics, "If you want to have good employees, you have to have good incentives, and we are offering free breasts." Other clinics offer cars, but the breasts have proven more popular. (I wonder whether Hooters will follow suit and offer their own employee benefits package in lieu of an educational scholarship.)
