Low Maintenance?

The problem with guys is that they want it all. They want a beautiful, stunningly attractive girl, with a Brazilian wax job, long hair that looks nice without the use of styling products, nice abs, boobs, butt, and legs, with an easy-going happy-go-lucky personality who just happens to be low-maintenance.  WTF?

We girls, on the other hand, want a guy who looks decent, is not too fat, and doesn’t lick his dessert off of his plate in nice restaurants.

Something is not jibing here. Think about the girls you know who take the time and effort to look perfect every single day, are always freshly waxed, pedicured, manicured, and alternate between Pilates and Spin Class to keep in shape. Now think about how low maintenance they really are. I don’t think that I’ve ever met a single one. Oh, they seem easy enough (and I do mean easy) when it’s Happy Hour and they’re drinking Chocolate Martinis or whatever else happens to be the drink of the month, but how easy are they really? For all that effort, they’re going to be expecting some things in return. I’m not trying to sound catty here (although I can be at times), I’m just trying to look at the reality of the situation. They’re going to need a lot of the guy’s time, his income, and will have his calendar booked for months on end.

In the dating world, as in the real world, guys have it so much easier than the girls. They complain they need a nice car, or a great job to get a girl, but if they just looked at the cute girl next to them at the bar instead of the Wanna-be Paris Hilton down the way, they might just find what they’re looking for.
